Gano Consulting, L.L.C. was founded in 2022 and is owned and operated by Brian Gano. The purpose of Gano Consulting, L.L.C. is to help organizations and groups envision and bring about the best version of themselves. Gano Consulting, L.L.C. will utilize the many years of experience of education of its owner and future associates to bring about positive change.
More about Brian
Brian has a passion for working with students, faculty, and staff but also believes his skills and experience will benefit all organizations and groups. He discovered a love for leadership and facilitation as a teenager and later developed his skills and views on each in his undergraduate program. He enjoys seeing a group come together for a common purpose and effectively work toward a goal.
As a leader in higher education, he has used his skills to facilitate staff training, professional development sessions, team building activities, and departmental and collegewide planning.
Brian believes in a collaborative process that lifts all voices. Everyone holds a unique perspective and what they see, think, and feel are invaluable to the success of any organization. He believes in creating an environment that allows for all voices to be heard and respected.
In addition to Gano Consulting, Brian is a part-time faculty member for the Master of Education Higher Education program at UNCW. He currently teaches Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education and the Culminating Projects I course. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his husband.
